For us, camping on Fraser Island is the best way to fully embrace island life, just like the locals, who flock to Fraser Island for a few days of fishing, exploring and beachside camping at every opportunity. At Drop Bear Adventures, we pride ourselves on offering the most authentic Fraser Island camping tours out there. Thanks to the amazing camping spots behind the foredunes on 75-Mile Beach, that means you get million-dollar views on a backpacker budget. If you stumble out of your tent early enough, you might get treated to a sunrise like this:[vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”4382″ img_size=”847×400″]However, on Fraser Island authentic also means: basic! Camping is permitted in certain sections of the Great Sandy National Park, but there are no facilities – no running water, no electricity, no permanent structures whatsoever. Of course that doesn’t mean you have to rough it when you join our camping tours. It takes a lot of preparation, but we can offer you all the comforts you need. Take a tour of our Fraser Island camp site, guided by our camp mascot Ted…
