We’re proud to say that our two properties on K’gari run entirely off solar power, although we do have a backup generator for those occasional rainy days which only needs to be run for a few hours.<\/p>\n
We have a 48-volt battery system that charges up through our 24 solar panels. We also have three solar hot water systems that can supply hot water for 40% of our guests.<\/p>\n
