TOUR GUIDESÂ
Our tour guides are some of the best in the business and showcasing K’gari is literally their passion. Journey through time as our guides share the ancient history and dreamtime stories of this lands’ custodians, the Butchulla people.
All guides on our Fraser Island Tours hold a Driver Authorisation from Transport and Main Roads, up to date first aid certificates and have been trained by none other than Poppa Bear himself. Experienced 4WDers, great hosts and a great eye for spotting wildlife you can trust that you are in good hands.
OUR 4WDSÂ
Our 4WDs are among some of the toughest ever made and they are totally rigged up for sand driving. With a fleet of reliable Toyota 80 Series Landcruisers, all with automatic transmission gear boxes you are in for a real adventure.
Providing a comfortable ride as you navigate the islands many sand tracks and endless beaches so you can relax and enjoy the journey.
BEACH CABINS ACCOMMODATION
Spend a couple of nights being lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves and wake up to a golden sunrise over the ocean. Our cosy Beach Cabins are all en-suited with separated toilet, showers and wash basin making them ideal for sharing. With a games room, kitchen and deck with ocean views, it’s the perfect place to relax into island time for a couple of days. One of the major bonuses of staying here is our camp fire, this is one of the few places you can have a fire on Fraser.Â
GLAMPING TENTS – If you are after a little extra privacy, you can add a couple of nights in a beautiful glamping tent right next door. With en-suite and beautifully dressed rooms it’s a great option for couples.Â
FULL TOUR INTINERARYÂ
DAY 1Â
7:30 – Meet @ Drop Bear HQ (pick-ups as per prior arrangement)
10am – Pick-ups in Rainbow Beach
11.30ish- Arrive at the Eco Retreat, settle in and enjoy a tasty lunch.
1ish- Head out on your first adventure to see some of the tour Highlights.
6ish- Get back to base and crack open a beer as you watch the sky change colours.
7pm onwards- Have dinner, share stories, play the didgeridoo & star gazeÂ
DAY 2Â
7ish- Have breakfast and get ready to leave camp for a fun filled day
Morning- Explore K’gari and her hidden treasures
12.30pm- Lunch time
Afternoon- Discover more lakes and epic views
6ish- Get back to camp,
7pm onwards- Â Enjoy another scrumptious dinner under the stairs and some evening activities.
DAY 3Â
7ish- Have breakfast and say bye to your favourite camp spot on 75 Mile Beach.Â
Morning- Hit the inland tracks to discovery towering trees and take one last dip
12ish- Lunch in the forest.
2ish- Quick stop at the Eco Retreat for some light refreshments.
3-3.30pm- Back to Rainbow Beach
6pm- Back to Noosa!
All breakfast and exploring times are estimated “ish”, we are on island time after all. We will feed you on time and get you to your connections on time but our tour timings are dependent on so many things like tides, traffic, ferry times and the adventurous spirit of each and every group. We believe that real adventures never follow a strict time frame and us Drop Bear’s like to mix things up a bit, so we ask you to trust that we will do everything within our power make your 4WD adventure with us unforgettable!

Our Noosa Courtesy Bus pick’s up between 6.25am and 7:25am
