- The scenery is beautiful.
- The natural wonders of Fraser Island are multi-faceted – where else can you find a sandy tropical beach, coloured rocks, serene lakes and a towering rainforest, all within a few miles of each other?
- Fraser Island is relatively easy to get to – only 3 hours’ drive from Brisbane or a short flight from anywhere else in Australia…
- …and yet it’s a secluded island paradise, where you can find virtually deserted beaches and landscapes.
Of course, Fraser Island is a popular tourist destination, so travel programmes are regularly produced here, to be aired all around the world.
Last year alone, we had British Olympian Tom Daley, stopping off on Fraser Island as part of his whirlwind tour of Australia and Nick Saxon with his National Geographic travel show exploring the less well trodden paths on the island.
But of course, the local pros also appreciate the fabulous filming location on their doorstep, like the Brisbane production company who were testing out some new equipment by shooting footage of a lovely lady in a floaty dress in various stunning Fraser Island locations. The pictures on this page were taken behind the scenes of that shoot.[vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”4589″ img_size=”847×400″]Thanks to our years of experience and intimate knowledge of the island, we were able to accommodate these very different productions and put together individual itineraries tailored to their needs. If you are planning a production that requires filming on Fraser Island, get in touch with Hana to find out how we can help you plan the trip, arrange all the necessary permits and make sure you see and film all the best the island has to offer!
