The Humpback Whales are iconic animals that can be seen in Australia and if you feel lucky enough to be travelling in the winter you can witness their spectacular migration from the south pole to the north east and west coast of Australia. 

Hervey Bay which is close to K’gari, formerly known as Fraser Island, is one of the best places to watch whales in Australia, if not the world! The Humpback Whales make a well-deserved stop in the tranquil waters of Hervey Bay before continuing with their journey to the North, some even stay for months whilst their calfs get strong enough to make the journey home to the Antartica. From the water you can see aerial displays to fin-slaps, eye hops and tail splashing as the whales put on a spectacular show!

Sit back & relax while you cruise on the calm Hervey Bay Waters beside K’gari (Fraser Island) onboard Blue Dolphins luxury yacht. This trip offers stunning panoramic views, calm waters and the most amazing wildlife during the most magical hour of the day.
